Deloitte Financial Services Innovation Awards 2019

On 2019 Deloitte launched the first Financial Services Innovation Awards. It is a programme that celebrates innovation by financial services companies across the island of Ireland. The awards recognise companies in financial services that are developing new processes to change the way business is done.
As part of the in-house design team in Deloitte, we worked collaboratively with business partners, digital team and events team to deliver a pleasant and memorable experience for the event assistants. We created the branding for the venue, motion graphics for the event, print and digital ads, a webpage and promotional social media assets.
The branding for this event is based on the 80s retro-futuristic theme as we were looking for an innovative and disruptive way to present a finance ceremony award.
Opening awards ceremony video
The ceremony award event had a large led screen divided in 3 parts: a central main screen and two narrower side screens. The purpose of the motion graphics projected during the ceremony was to convey emotion and create the right mood to the audience, to communicate the branding and main messaging and finally to help setting a rhythm for the event.
The videos played during the event were a countdown to get people back to their seats, the opening video as introduction to the ceremony, a holding screen animation while the meals were served, the winners announcements and the closing event video with all the winners as a wrap up.
